My Digital Media & Creative Technology
I have always enjoyed the digital world in all its different forms. Beyond my core work in software development and design or my hobbies of art, I have found myself deeply drawn to digital media and creative technology. Over the years, I have realized that these different fields are not separate; they are intersections of the same world. I’ve discovered that the real 'magic' happens when you understand how to bridge these disciplines, connecting the dots between logic and art, or between utility and play, to create something entirely new.

Stop Motion
#PearlPalmTree: Coasters in Stop Motion
The #PearlPalmTreeProject is an ongoing creative exploration where I reimagine the pearl palm tree in a variety of artistic ways. My goal is to challenge myself by applying this theme to as many different digital and traditional surfaces and techniques as I can, seeing where the creative journey leads.
In this specific phase, I used wooden drink coasters as my canvas, painting intricate designs on each one. To take the project further, I created a stop-motion video to showcase the different styles and variations I have developed. These coasters explore how a single theme, "the pearl palm tree" , can be interpreted through diverse artistic approaches.
If you’d like to explore the full journey, you can follow along with the hashtags #pearlpalmtree, #pearlpalmtreeproject, #نخلة_اللؤلؤ, and #مشروع_نخلة_اللؤلؤ on Instagram.
Motion Graphic
Evil Eye
The "Evil Eye" is a powerful, universal symbol found across countless cultures and faiths, including significant roles within Jewish, Muslim, and Christian traditions. Despite its different names—from the Turkish Nazar and Greek μάτι to the Arabic عين (Ayn) and Persian چشم زخم (Cheshm Zakhm), the core concept of this protective symbol remains a fascinating bridge between history and modern belief.
In this motion graphic project, I wanted to explore the visual history of the symbol, but also its deeper, more unsettling meaning. The animation begins with a single eye, but as it progresses, more eyes emerge, reflecting how one gaze leads to another. I wanted to capture how حسد (envy) acts like a collective force: a group of eyes focusing intently on a single point with such intensity. This piece reflects on the heavy weight of that collective gaze, specifically how it manifests when people covet what another person has, gathering their focus to envy, diminish, or take what does not belong to them.
Animated Digital Collage
My Circus or Not My Circus?
This project is an exploration of the popular Polish idiom, “Nie mój cyrk, nie moje małpy” (Not my circus, not my monkeys). While the original proverb is a classic expression for distancing oneself from chaos, I have always been fascinated by how the English-speaking world has playfully reimagined this sentiment.
From the classic "Not my circus, not my monkeys" to the self-aware realization of "This is my circus, these are my monkeys," the evolution of this meme captures the tension between observation and ownership.
In this animated digital collage, I’ve used photo manipulation to bring this circus to life. By isolating and animating key elements, I’ve created a surreal, living scene that reflects on the absurdity of the "circus" we find ourselves in—and whether or not we choose to claim it as our own.
Drifting Among the Clouds
“The boat drifts among the clouds, guided by the stars as its compass toward the city of stars.” يطفو القارب بين الغيوم، حيث النجوم بوصلةً ترشده نحو مدينة النجوم.
This piece began as a static digital collage, a composition born from blending various photographic elements in photo processing software. To fully capture the dreamlike atmosphere of the scene, I transitioned the artwork into an animated piece. By isolating the boat and adding a rhythmic drift through the cloudscape, the animation brings a sense of serenity and infinite movement to the frame. The result is a surreal, celestial journey where the static becomes dynamic.
Augmented Reality (AR) Experiences
Snapchat lens
This project was a deep dive into the capabilities of Augmented Reality (AR) using Lens Studio. My goal was to explore this medium from the ground up, moving from conceptual design to technical deployment. This exploration resulted in the development and publication of four unique lenses to the Snapchat platform.
